Mr. Kietlinski has over a decade of experience providing consulting and financial advisory services, working on complex reorganizations, and leading companies through financially distressed situations within the retail, consumer product and energy sectors. He has extensive creditor-side restructuring experience, leading over 30 committee engagements throughout his time at Province, and has a history of representing unsecured creditors’ committees, secured creditors, and chapter 11 trustees. Mr. Kietlinski has achieved notable success in cases like Claire’s and Performance Sports Group, where he produced nearly 100% recoveries for creditors, as well as in J. Crew, where he authored an expert report. Mr. Kietlinski also has significant experience in dealing with issues related to business analysis and valuation, solvency, budgeting, section 363 asset sales, intercompany transaction investigation, flow of funds, recovery analysis and related matters.
Prior to joining Province, Mr. Kietlinski worked with a global asset management firm on all investment-related facets of the business, including portfolio composition, quantitative modeling, and evaluation of discretionary investment opportunities. Mr. Kietlinski also acted as a principal and CFO for a South Florida-based home furnishings company. While there, his guidance and strategic improvements increased the company’s revenue by more than 200% and adjusted EBITDA by 350%, ultimately repositioning the retailer into one of South Florida’s leading luxury home furnishings companies. Prior to that, Mr. Kietlinski worked in Houlihan Lokey’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group where he advised companies in the consumer product, restaurant and retail sectors, in addition to working on several M&A transactions and recapitalizations.
