Mr. Power brings an analytical mindset along with commercial finance and lending experience to the Province team, having spent multiple years underwriting and managing a portfolio of senior secured credit facilities and underwriting acquisition financings in the commercial lending space. His experience spans across the consumer products, energy, financial services, industrial products & services, oil & gas, transportation and telecommunications sectors.
Prior to joining Province, Mr. Power worked at White Oak Commercial Finance, a commercial lending firm that provides senior-secured working capital financing to mid-size companies. He spent five years at White Oak, starting as an underwriting associate where he underwrote loan acquisitions, factoring facilities and asset-backed revolving credit facilities. In 2020, Mr. Power was promoted to Vice President in ABL and factoring, with responsibilities that included managing a portfolio of factoring and ABL clients while maintaining underwriting responsibilities for new business opportunities.
