Mark Schlecker is a finance professional and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience analyzing distressed companies and valuing illiquid assets on the buy-side and sell-side. As a private equity analyst, Mr. Schlecker was integral in dozens of distressed debt investments involving out-of-court restructurings, bankruptcy processes or liquidations. On the financial advisory side, Mr. Schlecker’s engagements focused on valuing illiquid fixed income, private equity, and structured products investments. Mr. Schlecker also has expertise covering the banking, insurance and REIT sectors.
Prior to joining Province, Mr. Schlecker was the co-founder and CEO of ZeroSixty Inc., a consumer wellness company selling a novel formulation of energy foods under the brand name “ember”. Prior to ZeroSixty Inc., Mr. Schlecker was an Analyst/Director at HoldCo Asset Management, a special situations strategy private equity firm focused on distressed securities. Prior to HoldCo, Mr. Schlecker was an Analyst and Associate at Houlihan Lokey. Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Schlecker was a credit analyst at Red Pine Advisors, LLC, a structured products valuation and advisory firm. Before joining Red Pine Advisors, Mr. Schlecker worked in the credit department of KBC Bank N.V.
