Ms. Demby is a principal at Province and leads the company’s Trust and Liquidation team. Her work primarily focuses on claim pool analysis, reconciliation, litigation services and the orderly administration of an estate from start to finish. Her breadth of industry experience includes providing services as the financial advisor, plan administrator and liquidating trustee for various chapter 11 liquidations including RadioShack, Samson Resources, Circuit City, American Apparel, Nasty Gal, Friendly’s, Eddie Bauer, Coldwater Creek, Coach America, Fresh & Easy, PetSmart, El Pollo Loco and Reader’s Digest.
Ms. Demby’s intellectual curiosity and solution-oriented nature have resulted in exceptional outcomes for clients, and she has a history of outperforming expected recoveries on a case. She constantly strives to bring diverse services and extensive experience to the administration of liquidations and restructurings, while limiting the economic footprint on the estate. In this capacity, Ms. Demby manages claim reconciliation and provides analysis and support in the objection process. She has a strong background in preference analysis, litigation support and class action settlement analysis. Furthermore, Ms. Demby oversees wind-down tasks and has experience in employee benefit plan terminations, asset liquidations, personal injury and workers’ compensation run-off claims as well as document retention and destruction.
Outside of the office, Ms. Demby is an avid supporter of animal rescue programs and special education initiatives for children with language-based learning difficulties.
