Mr. Kemper has over 20 years of accounting, finance and operating experience with public and private companies. His expert qualifications include turnarounds and workouts, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, debt financing and restructuring, cash management, financial modeling, accounting and financial reporting. Over his career, he has guided various companies through business planning and operational improvements including the implementation of new processes and procedures and internal controls.
Most recently, Mr. Kemper served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Investment Officer for a homebuilder where he oversaw the construction and sale of over $700 million in luxury single family homes. Prior to that, he served as Director of Finance at a public REIT where he played a key role in the successful execution of a liquidity strategy that resulted in a $2.2 billion merger. He also spent time in private equity where he focused on acquiring and turning around underperforming assets including restructuring a $500 million loan collateralized by various assets. Mr. Kemper started his career with firms Deloitte & Touche and Cohn Reznick where he provided a full range of consulting and business advisory services to various companies, institutional investors and hedge funds.
