Mr. Lovera has extensive advisory experience, engaging in mergers and acquisitions, project finance, and distressed asset transactions for companies spanning the Americas and Europe. His experience encompasses a broad range of industries, including healthcare, energy and power, aviation, real estate, financial institutions, and telecommunications. He also advises multiple Florida-based healthcare enterprises in the medical diagnostics and healthcare information technology sectors.
Prior to joining Province, Mr. Lovera served as Assistant Chief Financial Officer of HCA Healthcare’s East Florida Division, which comprises 14 acute care hospitals, 12 ambulatory surgery centers, seven free-standing emergency rooms, five urgent care centers, and over 19,000 employees. There, he served business development functions, including service line- and facility-level strategic planning, and management functions, including interim CFO duties. He also served on task forces related to the Division’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, automating labor and capacity management tools for facility- and division-level emergency committees and driving surgical reboot initiatives.
Previously, Mr. Lovera worked at Pan American Finance and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he provided strategic advice and execution capabilities to senior corporate executives, asset managers, private equity funds, and multilateral financial institutions based on in-depth financial analyses. He also holds a strong sense of civic duty, actively participating in not-for-profit organizations.
