Mr. Klawunder has nearly a decade of investment banking experience, with a focus on M&A transaction advisory. During his career, he has executed over 40 M&A and recapitalization transactions and corporate advisory engagements, representing over $3 billion of enterprise value. Mr. Klawunder has advised privately-held, private-equity owned and publicly-traded companies across a range of industries, including energy and power, consumer and retail, oil and gas field services, diversified industrials and business services. His deal experience includes sell-side and buy-side M&A advisory, joint-venture transactions, financial sponsor dispositions and leverage buyouts.
Prior to joining Province, Mr. Klawunder served as a Senior Associate at the investment bank Matrix Capital Markets Group, where he advised on M&A and divestiture transactions, corporate carve-outs, recapitalizations and corporate valuations. Prior to Matrix Capital, Mr. Klawunder began his career in investment banking at Ewing Bemiss & Co., where he executed M&A transactions, debt and equity capital financings and corporate valuations. During his time at Ewing Bemiss, Mr. Klawunder was also actively involved in the principal investing activities of its affiliate, Turning Basin Capital, where he aided in financial due diligence and deal execution.
