Mr. Young has a robust and diversified background in business and operational management, finance and leadership. He has extensive experience in business strategy development and designing operational improvement tactics that advance sales, production, cut costs and create an efficacious work environment. Throughout his career in corporate finance, he has acquired advanced knowledge in activity-based accounting, FX accounting, planning and forecasting, intercompany accounting and SAP systems transitions. Complementary to this, he brings strong strategic leadership rooted in brand management, digital commerce, organizational behavior, and people management.
Mr. Young spent over 20 years of his career working for Fortune 500 companies, serving as President, CFO, and in various Management positions throughout the Packaged Goods and Retail sectors. Working for some of the world's industry leaders like Mars Inc. and General Mills Inc., Mr. Young acquired top-level experience across all departments of large organizations including sales, marketing, HR and operations. In his last operational role, he created a strategic improvement plan that negotiated for capital investment and strengthened company culture, ultimately resulting in doubled sales and returned growth to a business that had been struggling for several years.
